CAMPING:
[QUESTION]  We love to travel with friends in our RV’s.  Does Port Hawkesbury have a campground?
[ANSWER] Sorry, we have nothing to offer the many campers that pass through our town.

ENTERTAINMENT:
[QUESTION] Hi. We were thinking of bringing the family to Port Hawkesbury for a weekend getaway. What does your town offer in the way of family entertainment?
[ANSWER] We do offer live music at Granville Green in the summer season, which is great, but other than that, you will have to carry on up the trail or travel to Sydney to find something for the family to do.

PARKING:
[QUESTION] We will be towing our camper and my friend will be towing his boat when we pass through your town.  Is there a place we could park with our trailers while we grab a bite to eat and pick up a few groceries for the trip?
[ANSWER] If you get lucky, you may find some space to park in one of the shopping plazas on Reeves Street, but your best bet would be the WalMart parking lot on your way out of town. Sorry we couldn't  accommodate you!

GATEWAY?:
[QUESTION]  Why do you bill yourselves as the “Gateway to the Cape”? 
[ANSWER] Good question.  We really are a natural stopping point after you first cross the causeway. Maybe we should do something to take advantage of that situation!  Imagine the jobs & prosperity we could bring to this great little town we call Port Hawkesbury!
